Highly Contagious Strain of Dog Flu Spreading Across the Country

Concern is spreading across the country about a highly contagious strain of dog flue. The Virus has infected around 2000 dogs in 24 states since first showing up in Chicago last March.

It hasn't shown up in Arizona yet, but a vaccine is available. Valley Veterinarian Dr. Jeffrey Cook says you still might want to get rover checked out.

People can't get the virus, but if they come in contact with an infected dog, they could spread it to a healthy one.
